There is a wealth of activities to enjoy during your stay with us at Bali Beach Villas at Tejakula, including:

•  Observing local artisans & silversmiths create their unique pieces

• Watching whales and schools of dolphins nearby in the gentle Bali Sea

•  Sun bathing on the beach or on padded teak lounges

•  Fishing in outrigger canoes - catch your own yellowfin tuna for dinner!

•  Strolling on a wide black sand beach or into the nearby Village of Tejakula

•  Watching traditional Hindu offerings being created and placed at shrines and temples

•  Seeing Balinese dance with ancient masks and traditional costumes - and, a special treat available only to our guests...your local hosts, Dewi & his wife, Lusi, renowned traditional Balinese dancers and dance teachers, are available to teach you some of these graceful Balinese dances!

• Seeing & listening to exotic gamelan orchestra performances, which are often described as 'the sound of moonlight.

•  Attending a shadow puppet theater - - - an ancient art form known as Wayang Kulit.

A note on Balinese weddings-As is the case with religious weddings in the West, Balinese weddings are ceremonies conducted only for the Agama-Hindus of the island. Thus, while we cannot arrange traditional Balinese weddings for our western guests, if you wish to come to Bali for your honeymoon, we would be delighted to host you and your guests for a post-wedding celebration, including Babi Guleng, the traditional feast of spit-roasted pig, with traditional dance and gamelan orchestra performances. Bali Beach Villas at Tejakula is also the perfect place to celebrate that special anniversary or other event. Please let us know if we can help you plan that most memorable celebration.
